My name is Yulia Gridneva, I live in St. Petersburg, Russia.
By education, I am an artist of traditional wood painting, studied painting on porcelain.
I’ve been doing art all my life, but I didn’t come to dolls right away, but this direction in art seriously fascinated me.
I started making dolls from various materials, but I always wanted to work with porcelain, I fell in love with it for a long time and now I try to learn all the subtleties of working with this magical material.
Exhibitions and competitions:
First place in the international virtual competition “With love to Ukraine”, 2014.
And the first place according to the results of the audience vote, at the same competition.
I became a nominee for the Pandora competition in 2015.
I won the contest “Doll of the Year” in 2016 and received the title of “Puppet Master”
I designed several cafes in her hometown with her works.
I like the game in puppetry, when you can interact with the doll, dress it in different outfits, change images and poses, so my dolls are completely mobile. I thank everyone who liked my work, and I will be happy if my dolls will delight and return to childhood.
